SPEAK YOUR TRUTH OR DIE INSIDE…
Is it really this important to speak your truth…?
Or am I just being melodramatic?
For the most part you won’t experience physical death for hiding your truth
In fact for many lifetimes we have been persecuted for being truthful…
So it makes sense that we are scared…
We have this inborn fear NOT to be truthful…
Because of what happened generations past for so many, many years.
And I bring this up because lying is such a normal part of day to day life for so many people…
I know it used to be for me…
I used to be an ultimate liar…
A deceiver… A Scammer… A fraud…
And this is hard for me to say….
Because this was a dark time in my past…
In fact, I believe it was 12 years ago that I woke up and had my epiphany…
And actual epiphany that came to me in a flash of vision…
It inspired the hell out of me…
It more SCARED the hell out of me…
Because I saw what would happen…
The person I was and chose to be…
And yeah, I was dying inside…
So even though most people haven’t gone through something so extreme…
The receive the harm from telling lies…
Life actually works really well when you just tell the truth
When you stand up for what happened…
On one hand this makes sure your stories don’t come back to bite you in the ass…
One the other hand, it makes you a better person in the moment…
For me now, if I am about to do something I would want to lie about…
And if I REALLY want to do it anyway –
Well, then I have to come to terms with telling the truth about it BEFORE I go ahead…
And even though people seem to get upset at the truth…
That is like waves in a bathtub…
Whereas the wake that comes from the lies you tell …
It’s more like a cyclone on the ocean shore..
A complete fucking disaster!
I encourage you to learn from me…
And if you are already quite honest — to strengthen your resolve…
And commit to never making up stories…
Or twisting your words to hide the true meaning…
You don’t have to blurt everything out…
And omission can be OK sometimes…
If it is sincerely in the other person’s best interest…
But no twisting words and NO making up stories..
And you know when you are and when you aren’t
It really is true that the truth hurts at times…
But THEN it sets you free.
